The Craftsman Bed is our premier product design, inspired by Craftsman style homes of the early 1900’s

This very stylish and aesthetically appealing bed is like a dream, enhancing your child’s bedroom as well as his/her imagination like no other. Recommended for children from toddler (two years old) through adolescence (preteen-teen), the bed can be configured in many different ways which can include a top bunk option as your child and family grows.

Additionally, very important safety features that are aesthetically appealing have been integrated into the Craftsman bed design which easily distinguishes itself from other children’s furniture lines. For starters, beautiful porch-like guardrails, rounded corners, superior strength, and matching step-stool and ladder.

If Craftsman Bed wasn’t awesome enough, it can be customized with six two-toned color combinations.

In addition to a beautiful aesthetic, the guardrails provide a feeling of security for your child when he/she is snug in their bed. The guardrails provide strong resistance and can toggle between (3) different configurations depending on the age and safety requirements of your child, including:

Pre-Schooler Mode (Ideal for ages 4-5)
Big-Kid Mode (Ideal for ages 6+)

The Craftsman bed offers two mode options for your growing family. All components included with purchase.

Single Open-Concept Mode: Provides an open and airy space above for one child; Ladder, slats, and upper end-guardrails removed.

Bunk Bed Mode: For two children; Ladder, slats (tongue & groove design), and upper end-guardrails installed.

DETACHABLE
LADDER

Each bed includes a ladder for ease of getting up and off of the upper bunk platform. When installed, the ladder is mechanically fastened to the bed frame, offering sturdy, reliable access to the upper bunk.

STOOL

Each bed includes a matching, functional step-stool for ease of getting in and out of the lower bed platform. As with any Dreamhouse Kids product our step stool is over-built, with safety in mind. It's also portable, and can be moved to any location in your home where a step stool is desired.

The Craftsman Bed includes all parts required for each mode (bunk-bed, or single open-concept). The bunk-bed mode utilizes the ladder, upper guardrails, and slats, allowing 2 children to sleep comfortably. The single sleeper, open-concept mode creates a brighter, more open environment for one child to enjoy. The lower compartment of the Craftsman provides three massive drawer units totaling 490 liters (17.3 cubic feet) of storage capacity for things such as clothing and toys. Each drawer is equipped with heavy duty sliders that easily slide in and out for easy access to contents, giving 3 feet of leeway for each compartment between open and closed positions.
